Google Finally Cleared My Site: A Hosting Journey Win
Hey everyone, I’ve got some big news—Google Web Console just gave my main site at madstudio.wuaze.com a clean bill of health: “No issues detected”! If u’ve been following my journey, u know this has been a long time coming. My site got flagged for “harmful content” way back, and it’s been a headache ever since. I’m pretty sure it was never my stuff—probably other sketchy subdomains on Wuaze messing with me—but Google didn’t care. That flag stuck around like a bad guest.
I kept requesting reviews in the Web Console—12 times to be exact. I was ready to lose it after the first few got ignored, but after the 12th review, Google finally cleared the flag. I don’t even know what I did right, it just kinda went away, but I’m not complaining! My main site’s in the clear now, and it feels like I can finally breathe.
This whole mess started with hosting drama on InfinityFree and Wuaze. Between API errors, upload limits, and sketchy subdomains, I was ready to ditch it all. I ended up moving my blog to Ghost on Koyeb (that’s where u are now!), deleted the old blog on the 12th, and shut down 404lab on the 14th to focus on what works. The new blog’s been a game-changer—no ads, no data collection, just my projects and me.
Speaking of projects, I just dropped a big update for Pi-hole on Roku Without Router Access (v2.9-release.3) on GitHub. It’s got a new CMD GUI to make ad-blocking on Roku way easier—u can input ur Roku and Pi-hole IPs right in a menu. Check it out on Product Hunt if u wanna block those annoying Roku ads! I also launched Woof Buddy, a Walk Tracker and Pet Care app for dog owners. U can track walks, save photos, and manage multiple pups—it’s live now at woof-buddy.vercel.app
Thanks for sticking with me through this wild ride. I’m stoked to keep building and sharing—let me know what u think of the new projects in the comments! Now if only I could find a decent cup of coffee with Brew Tracker… the hunt continues.
Till next time,
