Brew Tracker Update Day: New Features and Improvements!
We’re excited to share some amazing news regarding Brew Tracker! You can now see some of the bug fixes, performance optimizations, and user experience improvements that have been made. Here’s what’s new:
Fixed Map Initialization Bugs
Container Size Validation: We have implemented validation for the container size so the map will work on all devices.
Default Location: For users who’s location is restricted, we now default to New York City so users will always receive a map.
ResizeObserver: A feature added to ensure the map works when you resize your window.
Improved Error Handling
User Location Coordinates Validation: We enhanced the usability by assuring that your location coordinates are located as checked in the system.
Coffee Shop Coordinates Validation: We validated the coffee shop coordinates so you can trust the map markers.
Better Handling of localStorage: The manner in which the recent searches’ localStorage is retrieved and stored has been improved to enhance the experience when returning to previous searches.
New Loading States
Loading Placeholder With Animation: We added loading placeholders with map loading animations for better user experience.
Smooth Visibility Transitions: Enjoy a more seamless experience with smooth visibility transitions enabled.
